About Us

IGas Energy is a British energy company. We currently produce c.2,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day from c.100 sites across the country, with significant potential yet to be delivered from our assets.

IGas has played a key role in Britain’s onshore energy production; safely exploring, developing and producing onshore oil and gas at our sites for over three decades. Our management and technical teams have many years of experience in onshore energy production and most live and work in the communities in which we operate.

 IGas is now bringing its experience into renewable energy as part of the transition to net zero in 2050. The Company acquired a geothermal business - GT Energy - in 2020 and is seeking to develop the production of hydrogen at a number of its existing sites.
